O ruh cihat ruhudur. Cihadın kelime anlamı çok çalışmak demektir. Terim olarak Hak yolunda savaş anlamına gelir. Bir başka anlamı ise insanın kendi zaaflarıyla (nefsiyle) savaşması demektir; buna ‘büyük savaş’, cephedeki çarpışmaya ise ‘küçük savaş’ denir.
ANADOLU NASIL VATAN OLDU?
İnsanın kendi nefsiyle savaşı daha önemlidir. Bunda başarılı olan maddi savaşta daha büyük başarı gösterir. İşte Anadolu, bu özelliğe sahip kahramanlar ve bu iki sıfatı kendilerinde birleştirenler eliyle vatan oldu. Onlara ‘alperen’, ‘gazi derviş’ denmiştir. Ne yazık ki pozitivist ve seküler görüşle bakanlar tarihimizdeki ‘erenlik’, ‘dervişlik’ ruhunu görmezden gelirler.
